Our Wedding

Ryan and Alexis led parallel lives ever since childhood. They both attended the Armenian Sisters Academy but were several grades apart. Ryan lived around the corner from Alexis's grandparents. For years, they trick-or-treated in the same neighborhood every Halloween, unknowingly sharing the same streets and memories long before their paths crossed. Both were equally ambitious, often making sacrifices in their personal lives in order to further their careers. While Alexis was in her orthopaedic surgery residency, Ryan was perfecting his craft as a home builder. Years went by, and while Alexis's mother would often prompt her about "the sweet and handsome" guy Ryan from church, she remained focused on her career path. Alexis ultimately returned to Philadelphia after completing her fellowship year in New York City and was settling in to her job as a new attending surgeon. In December 2024, a casual night out with friends changed everything. Alexis happened to mention that her mom was still bugging her about meeting Ryan. That is when Ana, one of Alexis's oldest and dearest friends with whom she had experienced every life milestone, revealed that Ryan was, in fact, her cousin. Ana volunteered to play matchmaker, and the rest, as they say, is history...Much to Alexis's mother's quiet satisfaction - though she has yet to tell her, "I told you so."

Stella, Alexis's baby, did not just gain a dad in Ryan, she also gained a sister in Ryan's pup, Lola. Lola is an absolute angel, never disobeys, and shows only love to everyone she meets. Stella loves to test the limits, always gives her mom the side eye, and is as sassy as she is sweet. Two girls, two very different personalities. They have seamlessly welcomed each other into their lives. The sisters love going on walks, getting treats from dad, bothering mom while she is working, and snuggling up together after a long day. Stella and Lola have always brought immense joy to Alexis and Ryan individually, and together they fill the home with boundless love.

For out of town guests, a block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Union League of Philadelphia. Ask for the Williams-Baltaian wedding. Guests staying at the League will have access to the league's delicious restaurants &amp; amenities during their stay. All guests must follow the guest code.

Transportation

Transportation will be provided to and from the Union League for traveling guests

Union League Dress Code

No sneakers or flip flopsNo jeans or t-shirtsMen must wear sports coat when in the restaurant 1982, smoking room, and Cafe Meredith (except Sundays). *For brunch on Sunday, men are required to wear "Business Casual" attire (see below).
